More artists have joined the inaugural lineup for Volumes, a brand new Sydney festival that will showcase the talents of a multitude of Australian artists, set across three live music venues in the cultural heart of the city this August.
Joining the fray will be Brisbane’s Blank Realm, Melbourne duo Friendships, Perth’s Methyl Ethel plus Pelvis, Holy Balm, Low Lux, Den, Jon Dory and Palms DJs. They join a previously announced lineup filled with buzzed-about homegrown acts such as Jack Ladder & The Dreamlanders, Sydney’s Step-Panther and psych rockers The Laurels.
Volumes is set to take place on the 29th August 2015 and punters will be able to move freely between Oxford Art Factory, Brighton Up Bar and The Cliff Dive throughout the day.
Organisers also promises that each stage will feature carefully curated lineups and that “every step of the journey will leave the audience with the freedom to pick their own path or take detours off it as they please”.
Early bird tickets for Volumes 2015 have already sold out and first release ticket allocation is
close to exhausted. Organisers have stressed that only a limited amount of second release tickets will be made available.
