MoVement Sydney Returns With A Lengthy 2016 Lineup

MoVement Sydney is returning for another year this October, with a five-day takeover of venues around the city featuring a newly-announced lineup of local and international electronic acts.

Kicking off on Wednesday, 19th October, MoVement Sydney 2016 will host the world exclusive debut performance by Mind Gamers (pictured), the brainchild of Sebastien Tellier, Daniel Stricker (Midnight Juggernauts) and John Kirby (Blood Orange), which will be co-presented by Siberia Records.

Elsewhere, the likes of Wave Racer, Seven Davis Jr, Kristian Nairn (aka Hodor from Game Of Thrones, who’ll be heading up a Rave Of Thrones), Nicole Millar, GL and Baro will be taking part in MoVement’s secret warehouse parties, curated club nights, record swap meets, live streams and more.

The event will also showcase unique performances like ‘The Crystal Machine’ by Ariel Pink’s mates Shags Chamberlain, as well as producer Zuri Akoko performing live. MoVement Sydney will host Astral People’s fifth birthday celebrations as well, taking over Oxford Art Factory for one special night.

What’s more, the peeps at Stoney Roads are hoping to break the Guinness World Record for longest DJ live stream this year, while the Metro Theatre’s The Lair will host a special all-ages event.

MoVement Sydney 2015 saw over 7,000 punters hit up 25 events across the city, and this year’s shenanigans are shaping up to be even bigger.
