Music Feeds LIVE: Katie Noonan Streaming This Friday

Acclaimed Australian singer and songwriter Katie Noonan has assembled her musical sisters again for the return of the glorious Songs That Made Me series, which this time around will culminate with a full length album. When we heard the good news, we knew we had to get Katie back in for another session of Music Feeds LIVE, and for your viewing pleasure that’s exactly what we’ve done.

Songs That Made Me is a project that unites Australia’s most celebrated female singer-songwriters to share the songs that have shaped and inspired them as artists. Growing from a successful tour in 2013, this year’s undertaking is even more extensive.

Released on 10th October, the full length Songs That Made Me album showcases 14 female artists, including Renee Geyer, Mia Dyson, Stonefield, Melody Pool, Sam Buckingham, Angie Hart and Katie herself with 100 per cent of profits directed to Cancer Council’s Pink Ribbon campaign, which raises funds and awareness for women affected by breast and gynaecological cancers.

This will then be followed up by an extensive national tour from the end of October and into November, when Katie Noonan, Angie Hart, Melody Pool and Sam Buckingham take the show on

the road. Starting in Perth on 30th October, they’ll visit Adelaide, Melbourne, Castlemaine, Penrith, Sydney, Newcastle, Byron Bay and Brisbane, before finishing off on the Gold Coast on November 23rd.
