New Adelaide Festival Follow The Sun Announces Inaugural Lineup

Adelaide is set to host a brand new blues and roots festival this October with the announcement today of the inaugural Follow The Sun Festival which will feature performances from the likes of Something For Kate‘s Paul Dempsey and Melbourne-via-New-Zealand blues and roots quartet Bonjah.

Also taking the stage in the picturesque beachside surrounds of Glenelg on Sunday, 5th October will be Melbourne three-piece riff factory Dallas Frasca, Newcastle indie rockers Benjalu, Sydney beatboxing bluesman Lyall Moloney and a bunch more.

The licensed, all-ages event will also serve up a range of delicious food and have promised
a “backyard bbq” vibe, where friends and families can enjoy a relaxed day of music set against South Australia’s stunning landscape.

“Some outstanding Aussie music talent and a few drinks with your mates. What could be better,” said event founder David Elmes in a statement. “It will almost be like a party in your own backyard. I am really excited for Follow The Sun and to create something unique for the bay.”

Tickets go on sale this Friday, 25th July at 9am. The first 500 buyers will be able to purchase tickets at an early-bird discount price of $49.95.
