New David Bowie EP & Music Video Released In Honour Of His 70th Birthday

A brand new David Bowie EP has been posthumously released in honour of what would have been the Star Man’s 70th birthday.

The disc features the iconic musician’s final three recordings — Killing a Little Time, When I Met You and No Plan — plus the song Lazarus off his final LP, Blackstar.

Named after its title track No Plan, the disc also comes accompanied by mysterious music video for said title track directed by Tom Hingston, which features visual nods to Bowie’s character in The Man Who Fell to Earth and Lazarus (the Bowie-penned musical that featured No Plan) as well as the very “Bowie” theme of space travel.

Stream his No Plan EP and watch the video for its eerie title track below.

Meanwhile, an all-star team of Aussie musos has been recruited for the Aussie leg of a global concert series tipping its hat to the late legend, also in honour of his 70th.

Bernard Fanning, Sarah Blasko and Paul Dempsey will all perform at the Sydney Opera House on Sunday, 29th January, for a one-off Aussie event dubbed Celebrating David Bowie, alongside two dozen other musicians including former Bowie band members.

While Bowie lovers who can’t make the trip to the SOH can still catch the Bowie In Berlin concert series in honour of the 40th anniversary of the Thin White Duke’s 1977 album Low, which is making its way around the country this month.
