New Soundwave 2015 Timetables Released

UPDATE: Final Soundwave Festival set times have been unveiled — check them out here!

As promised Soundwave organisers have released the second draft of 2015’s festival timetables which address some of major clashes, day allocations and set time issues present in the first round of draft timetables.

One of the major issues with the draft set times was the fact that both Antemasque and Le Butcherette had switched days, moving from the Faith No More day of the festival to the Slipknot day. Both have been restored to their originally advertised day.

Slipknot now play 10 minutes longer. New Found Glory will now play an hour-long set.

Clashes between Ministry and Soundgarden have been addressed, with Dragonforce moving to a later slot on stage 4 to accommodate an earlier Ministry set, but despite the times on the timetable Ministry will retain their 80 min set length.

Other issues which will be rectified in further timetables include a 40-minute gap between The Wild Life and All Time Low on Stage 5 Slipknot day.

This time round, Mayhem are actually on the timetable, after Maddah accidentally left them off the first one — they’ll be playing Stage 5 on Slipknot day.

Unpopular clashes which haven’t been addressed include the Slipknot/Smashing Pumpkins/Fall Out Boy issue, where no band seems to be able to budge from their stage headlining slot. “Maybe try tweeting FOB,” says Maddah. Slash and Judas Priest are still playing at roughly the same time.

There’s more good news on the Sidewaves front. Three more sidewaves will drop tomorrow (Friday, 16th January). For all the latest updates on Sidewave info, check out our information page. See the revised set times below.

UPDATE 17/02/15: While we await the finalised Soundwave 2015 set times, organisers have officially released the site maps for all four legs of the festival. See them in the gallery below.
