Nick Offerman & Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy Have Made Sweet Manly Music Together

Nick Offerman, AKA Parks & Recreation‘s beloved patriarch Ron Swanson, is making another foray into the world of recording artistry, joining forces with Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy on an EP’s worth of original tunes.

The pair’s new musical collab comes after a long and fruitful bromance that’s seen Offerman direct a star-studded video for Tweedy’s side-project and, later, call him “the best songwriter of my generation” and profess a desire to marry him.

And now, they’ve taken their relationship to the next level, collaborating on no less than five new songs for the audiobook edition of Offerman’s woodworking ode Good Clean Fun, which is available now on iTunes.

As Entertainment Weekly reports, the pair wrote and performed all five of the songs together. We don’t know what their titles are yet, but some of our top predictions include Clear Alcohols Are For Rich Women On Diets, Please Refrain From Discussing Feelings In The Vicinity Of The Meat and, of course, the feelgood classic: Any Dog Under 50 Pounds Is A Cat And Cats Are Pointless.

Either way, we bet they’re manly AF and we can’t wait to get them in our ear holes.
