In this week’s episode of “Things The Gallagher Brothers Do To Piss Each Other Off”, Noel Gallagher has raised a middle finger firmly in the direction of his brother Liam by performing an Oasis classic with U2 shortly after his bro referred to them as “beige fucks”.
ICYMI: Liam’s latest shade tirade took aim at Bono & co, with the former Oasis singer proclaiming that he would “rather eat my own shit” than listen to U2, and dubbing them “toff rock” for good measure.
So, as Liam sat at home presumably chowing down on a bowl of his own excrement, Noel took the stage with the Irish rock trio for the opening show of their European Joshua Tree anniversary tour.
And to drive the knife even deeper, they performed a cover of Oasis’s hit ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ together.
The performance was also a tribute to victims of May’s Manchester terror attack, with Noel promising to donate all royalties from the song to families of the victims.
