Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Announce 2016 Australian Tour

Former Oasis member and lifelong Gallagher brother, Noel Gallagher, has announced a 2016 Australian headline tour with his band Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds around the time they’re set to perform at Byron Bay Bluesfest in March.

Gallagher and company have lined up some big shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, where they’ll be backed not only by their self-titled debut album and this year’s newbie Chasing Yesterday, but also some Oasis classics. Recent setlists from the UK have seen the band perform tracks like Champagne Supernova, The Masterplan, Whatever and Don’t Look Back In Anger alongside their own original numbers.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds last toured Australia in 2012, with a slot at that year’s Big Day Out festival. In July this year, Gallagher revealed he planned to tour Australia in 2016, and now, thankfully, those plans have come to fruition.

Since revealing his Aussie tour plans, Noel Gallagher has managed to slag off 12 of your favourite artists in the one interview, all while those sneaky Oasis reunion rumours have continued to circle.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ 2016 Australian headline tour kicks off in Sydney on 26th March. Catch all the dates and ticket details, below and head here for our uncensored interview with the man himself.
