Northlane Announce Intimate One-Off Show This Week

Sydney-based metalcore legends Northlane have announced an intimate one-off hometown gig this week, before their appearance at this weekend’s UNIFY Gathering. It will be their first show in Australia since recruiting new vocalist Marcus Bridge.

Tickets to the new show, set down for Thursday, 8th January at the Bald Faced Stag, will be limited to just 300. The band have also announced that the gig will be their last Sydney appearance until the release of their third, currently untitled, album, which is now expected to drop in the winter of this year. Demand for this show could not be higher.

Fans were, of course, introduced to Bridge by way of new single Rot, released back in November. Since the release of that single and its hugely popular video, the band have toured Europe with fellow Aussies Parkway Drive, and have also been added to the lineup for this year’s Download Festival in the UK.

After headlining UNIFY, the band jet to the US for a six-week tour with August Burns Red before settling in New Jersey to work on the new record with producer Will Putney. Putney produced Northlane’s last album Singularity as well as The Amity Affliction’s 2014 record, Let The Ocean Take Me.

Tickets are on sale for the Sydney show right now. We’d suggest getting in early.
