Sydney electro-pop singer-songwriter Phebe Starr has followed-up her acclaimed Zero EP, released back in May and which yielded the awesome single Alone With You, with new single Tonight. The track is the first taste of a new EP slated for release early next year.
“This song is about the freedom and the frustration of traveling, working at different times away from your loved ones,” said Phebe. “It was written in NYC when I was away from home for a while. It found it hard to sleep, partly because of excitement about the adventure and partly because of missing the safety of home.”
The track was produced by Andy Mak (Boy & Bear, Silverchair), mixed by Swede Ted Krotkiewski (Niki & The Dove), and is the latest offering from this country-town talent ahead of her new EP and her looming debut album.
