Phil Collins has quit music – citing health problems as the main reason for his retirement.
According to FHM Collins’s problems stem from years of being hunched over his drum kit. Medical issues ranging from hearing loss, dislocated vertebra, and nerve damage in his hands (needed mostly for banging those drums a la Cadbury Gorilla style)
The 60 year old Genesis drummer has a swag of awards behind him with thirteen hit singles, seven Grammy awards, and an academy award for Best Original Song for his work on Disney’s Tarzan
Collins maybe out but he’s definitely not down sating “I’m sorry that it was all so successful. I honestly didn’t mean it to happen like that. It’s hardly surprising that people grew to hate me,” yep nice one bruv.
