Phoenix Come Back To Australia With Catch Call

These four Frenchmen last brought their luxurious musical je ne sais quoi to us in 2007 as the stand-out act at V Festival.

Stylish, quirky, and blessed with a unique ability to make some of the best underground and effortlessly engaging sounds around, Phoenix have a musical playfulness that sees them seamlessly segueing between hiphop techno noise and luscious orchestration, and between flittering house timbres and straight up rock.

Throw into the mix the French accent of Thomas Mars – Phoenix’s photogenic mouthpiece – and the combination is irresistible.

Phoenix release their 4th studio album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix on May 22, featuring the lead singles Lisztomania and 1901.

Live highlights of their forthcoming tour are sure to include tunes from their four album catalogue, including Consolation Prizes and Long Distance Calls, as well as tunes from earlier albums United (which spawned the Lost In Translation soundtrack hit Too Young) and Alphabetical.

With the imminent release of their eagerly-anticipated new album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix Phoenix announce their return to Australia for TWO SHOWS ONLY!
