The recording sessions for The Night the Zombies Came saw the Pixies collaborating with producer Tom Dalgety. It was also the first recording with new band member Emma Richardson, the first British bass player to play with the Pixies.

Here’s the creative process of the album, according to its frontman Black Francis in a press release: “Fragments that are related and juxtaposed with other fragments in other songs. And in a collection of songs in a so-called LP, you end up making a kind of movie.”

With their inimitable sound and cutting-edge style, the Pixies make a comeback to enthrall the fans once more. Their joining The Night the Zombies Came is awaited for what new music journey the band has woven again.

Keep these calendars marked on October 25 and get ready to experience the latest from the Pixies.
