PREMIERE: Rival Fire Unveil Powerful New Video For ‘Lost’

Melbourne alt rockers Rival Fire are gearing up for the release of their new album, and now we’ve got the first glorious taste of it with the deeply relatable ‘Lost’.

On top of that, the band has dropped a video for the song which is powerful and emotional, matching the song’s message perfectly.

Frontman Rob Farnham – yes, son of the John Farnham – gave a statement on what the song is about, as well as the active decision to not make it about a relationship specifically.

“‘Lost’ is about finding your way through loss and regret,” Farnham said.

“It’s not written as a relationship song, as we didn’t want it to be too abstract. We use ‘loss’ as an entity that you have a relationship with. Forgiving yourself and dealing with the feeling associated.”

The band are on the cusp of announcing some live shows for this massive song, but for right now you can watch the video for ‘Lost’ below.
