Melbourne musician, producer, songwriter and master of an array of instruments Spender has been a magnet on the national touring circuit, attracting and transfixing audiences with his multitextured musical palette. We’re happy to present the premiere of the video for Spender’s latest single, Lake, right here on Music Feeds.
Filmed along the stunning and wild coast of Gunnamatta on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula, Spender describes the clip for Lake as his own a story of childhood and a broken heart. Directed by Brett Ludeman and featuring Spender’s own son, the clip displays fragments of darkness in the personal story but also touches on the beauty of innocence.
Spender will embark on his first headline tour this August to celebrate the year that has been as he starts to bring new music to the fans nationwide. Like Lake, the tour will focus on bringing in darker, dramatic and experimental pop storytelling tones to the live show. Details below.
