A new Limp Bizkit-inspired IPA is rollin’ onto liquor store shelves. Well, at least in the USA.
Amazingly dubbed “Fred Thirst”, the nu beverage is the brainchild of Texan brewery and taproom, Celestial Beerworks, and comes complete with a design paying full homage to frontman Fred Durst. Red cap to the back and all.
“I know y’all be loving this sip right here!”
“I know y’all be loving this sip right here!” the brewery posted on social media by way of announcement. “Fred Thirst is a crisp, clean, juicy American IPA loaded with Citra and Mosaic. We get flavors of sticky pine resin, orange rind, tropinana juice and lemon hard candy. It’s an easy drinker and keeps you coming back for more with every sip, but at 7%, keep an eye on how many cans you crush.”
Sadly, it does not appear as if the Fred Thirst recipe includes hotdog-flavoured water.
A four-pack is currently selling at stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for US $17.99, but thirsty Bizkits can try their hands at ordering the tinnies here.
