The ‘Raggamuffin Allstars’ tour was meant to roll through Australia in a week’s time but it’s been postponed.
The tour featuring Shaggy, Marvin Priest, The Wailers, Six60 and more has been pushed back to a yet-to-be-announced date because the main Raggamuffin Music Festival due to take place in New Zealand was postponed.
Raggamuffin promoter said that slow sales for the festival were to blame for the postponement.
“Ticket sales for the Festival have slowed in recent weeks and appear to have been impacted by various factors including an announcement that train services will now not be available on the event date due to track work being done,” he said in a statement.
He further said that extra time will mean they can, “work through campaigns and the overall success of the project both in New Zealand and for associated concerts in Australia.”
McManus said that the headliners have assured that they will be available to play rescheduled dates in November.
Ticket purchases can either hold onto their tickets get a refund via the point of purchase.
