RATM’s Tom Morello Releases Heavy Protest Song ‘Stand Up’ With Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds

Rage Against The Machine guitarist, Tom Morello has blessed us this with a new, politically charged single ‘Stand Up’. The single features Imagine Dragons’ frontman Dan Reynolds as well as special contributions from Shea Diamond and The Bloody Beetroots.

The track protests police brutality with lyrics like, “When I call the police will they just kill me? /Will they just kill you? /When I call the police will they just protect me cause I’m white skinned too?”

In Tom Morello fashion, it’s heavy in the best way. Between Morello’s riffs and Reynolds and Diamond’s joint vocal efforts — the track goes hard.

‘Stand Up’ has come with a lyric video too. You can catch it down below.

Tom Morello is donating 100 per cent of the song’s proceeds to: NAACP, Know Your Rights Camp, Southern Poverty Law Center, and the Marsha P. Johnson Institute. While KIDinaKORNER and Interscope will be donating amounts equal to the single’s royalties from streams for a three year period.
