Red Bull Music Academy Announce Mark Pritchard Boiler Room DJ Sets As Part Of Dark Mofo

The earth shatteringly awesome partnership between Red Bull Music Academy and Boiler Room Australia continues with the third instalment of the Chronicles series announced today, featuring Mark Pritchard teaming up with visual maestro Jonathon Zawada as part of Dark Mofo on Saturday 11th June.

Built around two genres, spanning DJ sets from Pritchard – the British ex-pat traversing his various different projects as well artists that influenced him – Chronicles 003 follows last year’s event with Perth beatmaker Ta-ku and 2014’s inaugural success with Hiatus Kaiyote, Taylor McFerrin and friends.

Designed to explore the life stories and musical journeys of some of some of Australia’s finest talent, Pritchard was a no brainer for the show. Having worked across a wide range of genres – from techno to jungle, footwork to grime – the Australia-based producer has more than a few stories to tell of how he arrived where he is today.

Having recorded music under names such as Reload, Link, Chaos & Julia Set, Jedi Knights, Troubleman, Harmonic 313 and Africa Hitech with Steve Spacek (to name just a few), Chronicles 003 sees Pritchard celebrating his recent, widely lauded album Under The Sun released by legendary electronic label Warp.

Featuring collaborations with Thom Yorke, fellow Warp artist Bibio and resurgent psyche-folk hero Linda Perhacs, the album mixes timeless musicality with cutting edge production and lush electronics.

A private, guestlist-only event, in traditional Boiler Room style, you can RSVP here, while those not able to attend the event will be able to watch the livestream on

In the meantime have a listen to Beautiful People (feat Thom Yorke) from Under The Sun here, with full event details here below.
