Red Bull Music Academy Unveils 2017 Aussie Weekender Festival Lineup

Red Bull Music Academy (RBMA) is gearing up towards its 2017 Sydney Weekender Festival in August, so it’s just announced a huge lineup for the tour, which will take in Road To Weekender dates across Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane in the lead up a series of events in Sydney.

Significantly, the return of the Aussie incarnation of the festival will see US singer/producer Abra make her debut down under. Also performing their first shows in Australia are American house music legend Tony Humphries and Japan’s Midori Takada.

They’ll be joined by an enviable local contingent that’ll include the likes of B Wise, CC:Disco!, Jackie Onassis, Manu Crooks and Shantan Wantan Ichiban, as well as Remi and Joyride of Aussie hip hop supergroup One Day.

A series of warm-up events will take place as part of the RBMA Road To Weekender, and will see the likes of ABRA, Midori Takada, Krakatau, Peter Everett and appear across multiple venues for a series of signature events and public lectures.
