Yesterday, Harley Streten AKA Flume really set the tone for 2019 after a video of him with his face in his girlfriend’s backdoor on stage at Burning Man went viral.
Today, he’s broken his social media silence since the video’s publicity with a cheeky post to Instagram apologising to his mum.
The commotion started yesterday after the Aussie DJ and producer was filmed doing the deed with his partner, internet comedian Paige Elkington, at the Nevada desert annual event.
As picked up by Pedestrian, his Wikipedia page now has a ‘Controversies’ section thanks to this debacle.
Days after the footage has emerged, Flume took to Instagram, with a peach in hand and a (pardon the pun) shit-eating grin on his face to claim that the incident was a “joke”.
Down in the comments section, Perth duo SLUMBERJACK suggested we “Listen to the man. Eat your fruits. Stay healthy,” while Vera Blue said it was a “Smooth recovery.”
His mum is yet to respond.
