Flume & Reo Cragun Share Collaborative EP, ‘Quits’

After promising new music in 2019, Flume’s come back in all guns blazing. After dropping his mammoth 17-track Hi, This Is Flume mixtape in March which featured the likes of Slowthai, SOPHIE, JPEGMAFIA and more, he’s since given us two singles, one with London Grammar called ‘Let Me Know’, and the second, ‘Friends’ with Washington rapper Reo Cragun.

He’s been a busy Flume, slowly letting us in on his new works which have seen him collaborate with some of the world’s most in-demand up and comers.

We reported yesterday that he’d be returning sometime today with new music, and he’s pulled through with the goods, this time in the form of a collaborative EP with Cragun called Quits.

The three-track affair traverses three different sounds for each artist, the title-track in ‘Quits’ offering up slow, RnB vibes with Flume’s signature squelchy, syncopated production driving this one forward. ‘Levitate’ sees Cragun’s vocal do the talking and finally, the EP closes out with ‘Friends’.

Flume dropped by Apple Music Beats 1 to chat with Zane Lowe, saying “This EP is us as a friendship, hanging out, just making tracks, having too many good songs and we’re like, ‘We need to get these out into the world’, so we were like, ‘Let’s just do an EP.'”
