US based genre-bender Robert Delong has announced he will be sidetracking while in town for Splendour commitments to perform two headlining shows. Delong will be hitting up Melbourne and Sydney this July, showcasing the journey through his soundscape as portrayed in his recent releases.
The creative vibes seem to be pumping from the burgeoning producer who dropped his maiden EP Global Concepts in 2012, and followed it up with an even more impressive full length, Just Movement, earlier this year. Touching on house, electronica and EDM, there is also a healthy dose of indie rock in the music given Delong’s previous experience as drummer in the indie rock game.
Splendour sideshows have been announced at an alarming rate this year, so it would be wise to become well-versed in the side attractions as all tickets to the festival have sold out.
Tickets to Robert Delong’s sideshows will have a presale via Frontier Touring starting 2pm AEST this Thursday, 16th May, with general release dropping at 9am next Monday, 20th May.
