Royal Chant End Hibernation With Good God Show

Royal Chant will bring nearly 3 months of hibernation to an end this Saturday night at Good God Small Club in Sydney on a bill that includes Surprise Wasp and Mother & Son. Following 7 months of shows and festivals in support of their debut LP Raise Your Glass & Collapse, the band played their final show of their Town Hall residency on the final night of July, which ended in typical Royal Chant fashion: drums awry on stage and without pants.

In their glorious dishevelment, the band took a breather to write, regroup, & recharge. The band is now back to their original three-piece format, with new bassist James Carthew joining founding members Matt Hoare and Mark Spence on stage to debut new songs with the new line-up. The Good God show kicks off Royal Chant’s Spring & Summer season, with gigs running between Sydney & Brisbane until the end of the year. Like always, it will be raw and raucous with love, spit, & venom.
