You know it’s bad when the ‘Blurred Lines’ guy is offended.
It’s all gone down on the US set of The Masked Singer, with reports coming out today that there was a set walk off by judges Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong during a recent ‘unmasking’. The masked singer in question, allegedly, is controversial Republican politician and attorney Rudy Giuliani.
According to Deadline, both Thicke and Jeong promptly exited the stage when Giuliani was unmasked during the latest taping of the popular show, which screens on the Fox network. Fellow judges Nicole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy reportedly remained on stage to continue the taping with Giuliani.
Fox haven’t commented yet on this, though the theme of this season of The Masked Singer is ‘The Good, The Bad and The Cuddly’ so…we can imagine how the casting stands to be.
Giuliani isn’t the first controversial contestant the show has had in its history, notably with Sarah Palin appearing on the show back in 2020.
2021’s season of The Masked Singer featured artists like Faith Evans, Natasha Bedingfield and Tyga; celebrities and actors like Rob Schneider, Queer Eye‘s Bobby Berk and Todrick Hall. The winner was singer Jewel.
