Lindsay Lohan Will Be A Judge On The Australian Version Of ‘The Masked Singer’

The Masked Singer is coming to Australia later this year, with an all-star panelist lineup including Dannii Minogue, Dave Hughes, Jackie O and Lindsay Lohan along with Bachie‘s Osher Gunsberg hosting the series.

If you aren’t across The Masked Singer, it’s an American reality singing competition show adapted from a South Korean program called King Of Mask Singer. The gist is that each week, a group of celebrities perform to the panel of judges while hiding behind an elaborate full-body costume/disguise.

Judges on the show then ask each contestant questions to try and work out their identity based on the clues, and vote alongside the audience to determine who will go on to the next round. It’s wild.

The first season of the American version wrapped up earlier this year, with a panel of judges that included Nicole Scherzinger and Ken Jeong. Celebrites who competed on the show included rapper T-Pain, comedian Margaret Cho and actress Tori Spelling.

“The show has already been a huge success and I can only imagine it will get bigger,” says Lohan about the show. “Each week will be so exciting to watch who performs and try and guess who’s behind the masks. I feel honoured to sit on the panel and be a part of such an amazing show.”

No word yet on a start date for the Australian version, but you can watch a trailer of the American iteration below to get an idea of what it’ll be like.
