‘RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under’ Is Touring Across Australia in September

Start your bloody engines, because Live Nation have announced the queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under‘s debut season are going to be sashaying their way across Australia on tour in September.

The five-date Australian run will kick off in Sydney at the Hordern Pavilion on Saturday, 18th September. From there, the tour will continue on to Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne before wrapping up in Canberra at the end of the month. While the exact lineups for each show are unclear, it looks set to be a characteristically over-the-top night, promising an “evening of eleganza extravaganza.”

The first Aussie and New Zealand iteration of the wildly popular drag contest premiered earlier this month on Stan. It’s already been as much of a chaotic hot mess as you might expect and has featured a ton of guest stars – in addition to co-host Rhys Nicholson, there have been appearances from the likes of Taika Waititi, Kylie and Dannii Minogue. Some playful digs at the royal family even saw the show censored by the BBC recently.

Check out tour dates below. Ticket pre-sale – including VIP meet and greet experiences – starts this Friday, 21st May, with general tickets on sale from Monday, 24th May. Head here for all the details on that.
