Second Soundwave 2015 Lineup Here This Afternoon

After a series of delays, Soundwave Festival organisers have confirmed that the long-awaited second lineup announcement for the summer 2015 festival will arrive, once and for all, later this afternoon.

For months now fans have been awaiting the second lineup announcement for the summer 2015 festival, which Soundwave chief AJ Maddah previously said also includes a “Justice League Of Rock” supergroup.

Just last week, Soundwave released a statement saying the announcement would not come until “all t’s & i’s are crossed and dotted” and on Twitter this week, Maddah confirmed that D-Day would be “Thursday. Early afternoon.”

While, yes, we have been burned before, Music Feeds has received confirmation from Soundwave organisers that today is indeed the day.

In a follow up tweet today, Maddah says that today’s lineup will be a “little announcement with a few bands” due to the fact that there will be a third lineup announcement, to be delivered alongside Soundwave set times, some time before Christmas.

The much anticipated second lineup announcement was originally expected to drop in late September, but was pushed back multiple times, with Maddah instead revealing he was adding three more acts to the bill. Two of those acts were later confirmed to be Nonpoint and Bayside.

The newest Soundwave 2015 additions, including the mystery supergroup, will join a packed roster that already includes headline acts Faith No More, Slipknot and Marilyn Manson. Stay tuned to Music Feeds as all the Soundwave 2015 news comes to hand.
