Sia has bolstered up her latest album This Is Acting, adding four new songs to the mix.
The Aussie songstress has released a deluxe edition of the album (which was first released back in January), and on top of her most recent single The Greatest with Kendrick Lamar, she’s added another three, shiny new ones.
They’re all classic, soaring Sia ballads, each with a slightly different flavour. Confetti is a pounding pop song, Midnight Decisions is a fragile, slow-burner and Jesus Wept is a gentle heart-wrencher.
Sia’s already pulled plenty of hits from This Is Acting. Alive, the first single, took over the airwaves, Cheap Thrills nabbed her first number one in the US and The Greatest is her highest charting single ever here in Australia, where she unbelievably still hasn’t had a number one single.
That’s without mentioning the fact that the album reached the top of the charts here. Oh, and she’s also nominated for six ARIA Awards, so you could say it’s been a pretty good year for Sia.
She’s currently on tour in the US with Miguel and AlunaGeorge, and we’ve got all our fingers crossed that she does a homecoming tour. Until then, check out the new songs below.
