Watch Slum Sociable’s Slick Rendition Of A Mark Ronson Classic For ‘Like A Version’

Melbourne duo Slum Sociable have taken to triple j‘s ‘Like A Version‘ to give us a smooth and funky rendition of Mark Ronson‘s infectious ‘Somebody To Love Me’.

The track, which came in at #10 on 2010’s triple j Hottest 100, was already funky enough — when is Mark Ronson not? — but Slum Sociable gave it a slick makeover, with lead vocalist Miller Upchurch’s instantly recognisable vocal performance steering the ship.

The band also gave a stirring version of their original track ‘Can’t Figure It Out’, taken from their 2017 self-titled debut album. Watch both performances below.

They are also embarking on a nationwide tour that kicks off today. Check out all those details here.
