Melanie C Returns With Glitter-Soaked Club Banger ‘High Heels’

Melanie C – Sporty Spice herself – has returned with latest single ‘High Heels’, a pulsing disco-pop banger full of shimmery synths, club beats and the singer’s huge voice.

For the video, Mel linked up with British LGBTQ+ collective Sink the Pink, who she says inspired her to write the track.

“From the first moment I set foot in their fantastic club, I was blown away by the warmth and inclusivity of the atmosphere that had been created.

“It was a place where anyone could be themselves, whomever they were, while feeling completely relaxed about being so. ‘High Heels’ is also frivolous riot of a song, encapsulating an amazing night out and everything that goes into getting yourself ready for it!”

As you might expect, the song’s video is a glitter-soaked party that complements the song beautifully – a bevy of sequins and drag divas dancing the night away.

The new track caps a huge 12 months for the singer, having already embarked on a Spice Girls reunion tour (sans Posh) earlier this year.
