Spilt Milk Has Been Cancelled For 2024

Spilt Milk is the latest major Aussie music festival to bow out of 2024, with organisers hitting social media over the weekend to announce the disappointing news that this year’s event will not be going ahead.

The multi-city music, food and arts festie, which traditionally straddles the start of summer around late November/early December, joins Groovin The Moo and Splendour In The Grass on the “cancelled for 2024” list.

“we couldn’t get you the Spilt Milk you deserve this year”

“Sorry pookies, we couldn’t get you the Spilt Milk you deserve this year [cry-smile emoji],” organisers posted on Instagram. “Sooo imma dip for a bit and come back when I can make all ur dreams come true [love heart] i miss u xx”

While the Spilt Milk team didn’t elaborate on what triggered the decision to take a year off, there are rumours it was due to a big headline act pulling out of the fest at the last minute.

Last year’s lineup was headlined by Post Malone, and also featured the likes of AitchDom DollaMAY-A, Peach PRCTkay MaidzaThe BuoysCub Sport and many more.

Let’s hope 2025 will be a happier year for the Aussie music festival circuit!
