Splendour 2015: Tickets, Camping & Info

Tickets for this year’s mammoth Splendour In The Grass festival are right at this moment on sale, as punters prepare themselves to see over 100 acts set to take the stages in Byron Bay this July.

It’s going to be a big year at Splendour, headlined by the likes of Brit-pop legends Blur, powerhouse indie outfit Florence + The Machine and producer/DJ extraordinaire Mark Ronson. Other acts set to take the stage include Tame Impala, The Wombats, Azealia Banks and many, many more.

To help curb the ticketing madness, we’ve compiled a quick guide filled with all the pressing Splendour 2015 information you need to know.

UPDATE 23/04/15 10.18am: Tickets to Splendour 2015 have already sold out. Ticket resale will be available from June 1st and the first batch of Splendour sideshows are expected to be announced tomorrow.

Tickets

Tickets on sale through via moshtix.com.au or phone 1300 GET TIX (438 849).

3-day tickets – $365 + booking fees.
Single day tickets (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) – $155 + booking fees.
Note: A 2.1% transaction fee applies to all orders.
*You have the option to offset your carbon emissions for $3 per ticket.

Ticket Resales

Ticket resale or reissue services may be offered via Moshtix, but the final decision on whether such services will be provided is at the discretion of Splendour In the Grass.

Punters should note you can only purchase legitimate Splendour tickets the official ticketing provider, which is Moshtix. Also note, the ticket holder can’t change the name and date of birth details on tickets.

Camping

Camping Ticket – $120 + booking fees.

Onsite camping is available for up to 5 nights – with early entry into the campgrounds available from Wednesday, 22nd July. You will need to purchase a vehicle pass for the day you want to arrive. That will be available from 1st June.

Please note: Splendour In The Grass has already been granted a capacity increase for 2015. There will not be a second release of tickets.

Camping Ticket – Family Campground

This year Splendour will introduce a special family camping ticket that provides access for each ticket holder to The Meadow, a family friendly camping area located within the general campgrounds.

The Camping Ticket – Family Campground is one ticket per person and you’ll need to buy an Event Ticket as well as a separate Camping Ticket. Children aged 11 and under are admitted free, and must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian at all times whilst at the festival or campgrounds.

Vehicle Passes

To manage traffic and create a greener event, all vehicles parking at North Byron Parklands for Splendour 2015 are required to have the appropriate pre-purchased vehicle pass from Moshtix. That will go on sale from Monday 1st June.

Transport

Shuttle services will run between surrounding locations including Byron Bay, Brunswick Heads and North Byron Parklands. More information on this to come.

Extra Stages

To accommodate the huge lineup, this year the well established Amphitheatre, Mix Up, GW McLennan stages will be joined by the Tiny Dancer which will feature some of Australia’s preeminent DJs and other notable dance acts.

The festival will also feature the much loved Splendour Forum, a late night comedy club, global village, tipi forest and the new Little Splendour – an entire field allocated to families and young festival goers.
