Splendour In The Grass is relaunching its food, fashion and lifestyle hub after taking a year off, today announcing The Very Small Suburb, the festival’s new place for everything yummy and #nofilter-worthy.
At Splendour In The Grass 2016, The Very Small Suburb will see a range of A+ merchants offer up tasty food, new and vintage fashion, as well as teams of hair and beauty specialists.
Food wise, Splendour 2016 will see Aussie pub grub delivered by Unicorn Hotel, coffee, tea and hot bevvies created by Single O, some amazing pastries and baked goods from Sydney’s Bourke Street Bakery, all the doughnuts you could ever want from Doughnut Time and the magic that is Gelato Messina’s super-unique flavours.
On the fashion side of things, there will be products from the likes of Byron Bay brands fallenBROKENstreet and Afends, designer outfitters Mooondust Merchants and Melbourne’s Mr Simple.
Over in the beauty and lifestyle areas will be the Rimmel Room, offering free makeovers, makeup tutorials and phone-charging bars. There will also be the Kiehl’s Rocks Skin Retreat, with signature in-store facials, and Sulis House of Lush, Byron Bay’s premier Aveda Lifestyle Salon and Day Spa. Appointments for all of these merchants can be booked through the Splendour mobile app, but walk-ins are also welcome.
Aside from The Very Small Suburb, Splendour has already announced its 2016 arts and crafts lineup. Earlier this week the festival dropped its official set times, while there are also details of a planned mass Pokémon GO session here and the event’s full music lineup, below.
