Here Are Spotify’s Eurovision Top 10 Predictions

Written by Zanda Wilson on May 11, 2016

With Eurovision fast approaching, speculation as to who will take out the top gong is heating up – and anticipation for the event is at an all time high with Justin Timberlake revealing yesterday that he’ll be performing at the event.

Now, the team at Spotify have revealed their predictions at who will finish in the top 10 of the famous song contest.

Based on Spotify plays from their Eurovision 2016 Playlist, it has been determined that host nation Sweden will take out the top gong with If I Were Sorry by Frans. The song already has 30 million streams globally, more than twice that of ABBA’s 1974 Eurovision winning entry Waterloo.

Australia’s Dami Im is touted to finish fifth, based on the number of streams of her track Sound Of Silence up to now.

Check out our gallery of the top 10 predicted acts, and wrap your ears around a playlist of their entries below.
