St. Kilda Festival has revealed its extensive lineup for 2013. Taking place from Saturday, February 2 to Sunday, February 10, St. Kilda Festival will host an extraordinary array of talent over the week-long event.
Australia’s largest free music festival, St. Kilda Festival offers a diverse variety of entertainment, such as the celebration of Torres Strait and Aboriginal Islander arts, music and culture – Yalukit Wilum Ngargee.
The St Kilda Festival’s Live N Local program, showcases emerging local talent, as restaurants, shops and live music venues provide the stage for upcoming grassroots musicians and artists. Festival Sunday is the final day and will have some of Australia’s finest acts on offer with the likes of Oh Mercy, Pez, Ash Grunwald, Bluejuice, While the City Sleeps, and Eagle & the Worm.
For a festival that looked in danger of shutting down a few months back in September, St. Kila Festival 2013 looks to be one of the definitive music and arts events of the year.
