Stars Drop Two EPs On The Eve Of Australian Tour

Canadian indie rockers Stars have kicked off their world tour with a bang. Still sailing high atop the wave of support kicked up from their latest full-length album, 2012’s The North, Stars have announced they will be releasing no 1, not 1.5, but 2 brand-spankin’-new EPs for our listening pleasure.

The first, Far From Home is compiled from a handful of new tracks and is set to carry on with Star’s tried and true stories of love, loss and the inability to handle it all. The album is already up on iTunes so hit that shit up right away.

The second EP is a super special EP designed wholly for the current world tour. The aptly named You Guys Are All Awesome is available for a free download via NoiseTrade. What’s more, You Guys Are All Awesome will feature tunage from each of the bands that will be supporting Stars as they galavant across the globe for the next three months, including Milo Greene, Cold Specks, Said The Whale and Yukon Blonde.

The world tour will be kicking off right here in Sydney on Saturday, 9th February where we are destined to be treated with tracks from their plethora of releases, new ones included.
