Superchunk Announce One-Off Headlining Sydney Show

You have one and only one chance to catch indie rock legends Superchunk in a headlining show when they hit Australia next month, with the seminal outfit today announcing they’ll be playing The Annandale in Sydney on Wednesday, 13th November.

The North Carolinian quartet were initially set to come to Oz as part of AJ Maddah‘s failed Harvest Festival, but after the event’s collapse, announced they’d be playing gigs in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Neutral Milk Hotel and M. Ward, to which limited tickets are still available.

But diehards, this is the show for you, with the prolific outfit that gave us gems like Slack Motherfucker going it alone for one night only. Their latest full-length offering, I Hate Music, attacks both the dizzying highs and terrifying lows of a life immersed in music and sits perfectly alongside their classics like Come Pick Me Up and Foolish.

Tickets for this very special event go on sale at 9:00am AEST on Thursday, 24th October, so get your purchasing finger ready and let a little Superchunk into your life.
