UPDATE: The full NYE In The Park lineup has now been announced.
ORIGINAL STORY: Hot Tub Time Machine‘s party across the decades has become one of the hottest live shows in Australia over the past couple of years, and now the specialist DJ has announced that he’ll be hosting a brand new festival on New Year’s Eve 2017, dubbed NYE In The Park.
The new event is set to debut in Sydney’s picturesque Victoria Park, with organisers promising tickets will be priced “as low as we could” on a night usually full of overpriced tickets, overpriced drinks and lines for days.
There’s set to be two huge stages featuring a stack of Australian and international bands and DJs, while Hot Dub Time Machine will ring in the new year in style with one of his amazing sets.
Hot Dub (AKA Tom Lowndes) has a proven track record of curating festivals, hosting a ripper first year of his Hot Dub Wine Machine tour this year across Australian wineries.
While the lineup is yet to be announced, Lowndes today posted a teaser video for the new festival featuring Northeast Party House‘s 2016 track ‘For You’, possibly hinting that the Melbourne band are set to be one of those announced.
