The dudes and dudettes at I OH YOU have teamed up with Frontier Touring to spawn a brand new all-ages music festival for Sydney’s south-west.
Dubbed Out Of Bounds, the inaugural event will go down at the Campbelltown Athletics Centre on Saturday, 18th January 2020, with a stacked multi-genre lineup featuring local legends Illy, The Rubens, Mallrat, Trophy Eyes, WAAX, Alex The Astronaut and loads more, running across two stages.
Built from the ground-up for the Macarthur/Campbelltown region and situated on the running track many of the organisers used for their high school sports carnivals, Out Of Bounds is all about bringing some of Australia’s most exciting musical talents to the heart of the south west suburbs and create a top-tier music festival that area’s youth can call their own.
“Being born and raised in Campbelltown ’til I finished high school, I know what an amazing place it is to grow up,” writes I OH YOU founder Johann Ponniah.
“I’m intensely proud of my hometown area and grateful for everything the community gave me. In saying that, I also know how distant and separated it can feel from the inner city areas that are often spoilt for choice and cultural opportunities.
“The Out Of Bounds festival is aimed at beginning to bridge that gap and hopefully allowing all the brilliant young people in the region a chance to see some of Australia’s best musical talents.”
