Taylor Swift fans have launched a petition calling for the singer to add an Adelaide show to her just-announced 2018 Australian tour, which currently has dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
Adelaide man David Ramke has created the ‘Bring Taylor Swift to Adelaide’ petition on Change.org, begging Tay to show Adelaide some love on her upcoming trip down under.
“We love your music and talent, and the general atmosphere you create when you perform. It is sensational,” he says.
“We ask that on your tour down under could you please take some time for your loyal and loving fans in Adelaide! It is not always easy to travel interstate, especially for your younger fans.
“Love your always loyal fans of Adelaide!”
Swift’s Adelaide fans were pretty furious after her Aussie tour announcement earlier this week, which included Perth but excluded Adelaide….
Are you actually kidding me?! @taylorswift13, one of the biggest acts in the world is not coming to Adelaide, after Pink sells out four shows here?! What more do we have to do to prove big artists should come here?! @hit107, make it happen!

Swift has performed in Adelaide on three of her previous tours and in Perth on two, so her 2018 tour will actually square things up between the two cities if Adelaide doesn’t end up getting its own show.
Her previous Australian tour behind her 2014 album 1989 included two Adelaide shows, each to around 20,000 fans, but didn’t include any shows in Perth.
The petition to bring Swift to Adelaide in 2018 — which you can sign here — has only 10 signatures at the time of writing, but it’s only 15 hours old.
