Taylor Swift Hits Back At Joke In Netflix Show ‘Ginny & Georgia’

Taylor Swift has slammed new Netflix show Ginny and Georgia for making a “deeply sexist” joke about her. Addressing the joke on Twitter, Swift shared a screenshot of the subtitles.

It reads, “What do you care? You go through men faster than Taylor Swift.”

The joke hasn’t landed very well with fans, or Swift.

“Hey Ginny & Georgia, 2010 called and it wants its lazy, deeply sexist joke back,” wrote Taylor Swift on Twitter.

“How about we stop degrading hard working women by defining this horse shit as FuNnY.”

“Also, [Netflix] after Miss Americana this outfit doesn’t look cute on you,” she said.

“Happy Women’s History Month I guess.”

Miss Americana dropped on Netflix last year and took an in-depth look into the misogynist criticism Swift has faced through her career.

It includes discussion around Taylor’s dating life and how it was skewed in the media.

Netflix are yet to comment on Swift’s tweet.
