With not too much time left between now and when Tegan & Sara arrive on our shores for their GTM slot, the pair have announced which local flavour they will be injecting into their headlining sideshows. Aussie / South African hybrid outfit Clubfeet is said flavour.
By all accounts it seems to be a fairly appropriate match up. Since 2010, Clubfeet have been well and truly on the radar of international tastemakers, and since their debut album Gold on Gold, they are still yet to reach cruising altitude. The band even found themselves on Paste Magazine’s Top 10 Bands of CMJ following their first ever live performance, which took place at CMJ.
This year Clubfeet have offered us Heirs and Graces, their 2nd album, the success of which seems to be drawing many parallels to that of its predecessor. You will be able to catch the internationally applauded Clubfeet warm the crowd for the dangerously charming Tegan & Sara at the below dates.
