The 3-Day Gum Ball Music And Arts Festival Returns For 2013

Tucked away in the picturesque and tranquil Hunter Valley, The Gum Ball has announced the 2013 instalment of the music and arts festival. Set on ‘Dashville‘, the festival will be 3 days of live music soaked in a super-creative atmosphere.

Over the years, the stages located on the Johnston family bush estate, otherwise known as Dashville, have been graced by the talents of Papa Vs Pretty, Regurgitator, Lanie Lane, Jinja Safari and Wagons. So this is no small affair. The Gum Ball successfully pulls in some of the greatest talent Australia has on offer. For three days, opening on ANZAC Day, Thursday, 25th April 2013, punters will have the chance to shake off the big smoke, settle down amongst some hassle-free pastures, and take in the low-hanging, simple pleasures on display.

While on location, you will have access to camping and accommodation packages, delicious food, markets and open spaces. The shindig will be BYO, which isn’t too shabby and will be strongly associated with both The Black Dog Institute and Sustainable Event Alliance.

The location can be found around an hours drive from Newcastle Airport, or about 2.5 hours straight from the Steak and Kidney. Tickets for The Gum Ball will hit the market November 22 and you can expect the full lineup around December 16.
