The Amity Affliction Unleash New Album Title Track ‘This Could Be Heartbreak’

As the Friday, 12th August release date edges closer for their next album, This Could Be Heartbreak, The Amity Affliction have given us another peek under the hood of the record in the form of its title track.

Much like previous single I Bring The Weather With Me, Heartbreak sees Amity stick to their tried and true method of good vs. evil vocals, duelling over the macabre and bleak with an ultimately positive outcome.

But hey, if it ain’t broke, why fix it? If there’s one thing The Amity Affliction have done consistently, it’s write the biggest heavy singles of the past few years.

…Heartbreak also sees the band return to the epic video clip. Taking place at a wake, the video appears to be both the spiritual, and literal sequel to previous single I Bring The Weather With Me continuing the narrative of the death of vocalist Joel Birch…or is he?

Heartbreak; the album comes from considerably good stock given that its two older siblings have both debuted at #1 on the ARIA Album Charts. The fact that they’ve sold out their entire album launch tour is a strong indicator it will happen again.
