The Big Pineapple Music Festival 2013 Lineup Announcement

The Big Pineapple Music Festival has announced it’s inaugural lineup for 2013. The new music festival will take place on Saturday April 20, 2013 at the the Sunshine Coast’s rejuvenated Big Pineapple. Thanks to new investors who came to the novelty tourist attraction’s aid in September 2011, the iconic structure recently underwent restorations and it’s surrounding hetares were rescued.

With hopes that this will be the first of many music festivals held at the Big Pineapple, organisers have put together an impressive list of Australian and New Zealand talent. Headlining The Big Pineapple Music Festival are Birds of Tokyo. Joining the WA boys are Grinspoon, Regurgitator, British India, The Black Seeds, Hermitude and plenty more.

Tickets for the festival go on sale tomorrow (December 4) from 12pm. The Big Pineapple Music Festival is a one-day event and gates open from 11am till 11pm on Saturday April 20, 2013.

Hosting a music festival at the Big Pineapple could prove to be one of the more idiosyncratic Australian music events of 2013. Tomorrow’s your chance to grab and a ticket and claim bragging rights that you were there when it all began.
