The Corrs Announce 2025 Australian Tour

The Corrs have announced their return to Australia, marking their third time performing here in as many years. The Irish pop-rock sibling band will play three east coast shows in late February 2025 as part of a world tour belatedly commemorating the 25th anniversary of their breakthrough second album, 1997’s Talk On Corners. Dates, venues, pre-sale and ticketing info can be found below.

“Australia has always held a special place in our hearts,” said the band in a joint press statement announcing the tour. “We’re beyond excited to return for these special shows. We can’t wait to share our music and celebrate with you all again.”

Joining The Corrs as opener for Brisbane and Sydney shows are Australian pop duo Bachelor Girl, best known for their 1998 hit ‘Buses & Trains’. “We always loved The Corrs,” they wrote in their own statement announcing their involvement with the tour.

“We had a soft spot for their Irish-ness, and had major girl crushes on them too. Totally fell in love with their debut [single] ‘Runaway’, and that string line that went minor to major. We were lucky to be played right beside them on the airwaves, and now we get to be one of their special guests live.”

The shows will also feature Italian-Australian pop singer Gabriella Cilmi on all three dates. She is best known for her chart-topping 2008 single ‘Sweet About Me’. These will mark her first shows in her birthplace of Australia since 2010. For the final show of the tour in the Yarra Valley, the line-up will be completed by Delta Goodrem and Kate Ceberano‘s daughter, Gypsy Lee.

The Corrs returned to Australia in November 2022 for the first time in over 20 years, playing a one-off show in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales. They then quickly followed this up with a full-scale national tour the following October, supported by Natalie Imbruglia.

Talk On Corners was originally released in October of 1997. It is one of the best-selling albums in UK history, having gone nine times platinum and sold nearly three million copies. The album also achieved quintuple platinum in Australia, peaking at number three on the ARIA Albums Chart.
