Not just content with headlining the sold out Red Deer Music And Arts Festival, Brisbane’s own The Grates have announced two extra shows taking place in their home state. The love will now be shared with Toowoomba and the Gold Coast in the days prior to their festival appearance meaning the band will be in the finest form as possible.
Having returned from a breather with some recharged batteries and an endless hunger, The Grates are back. Led into battle by the fearless Patience Hodgson and reinforced by John Patterson, the two additional shows will see the same sonic power that led to Red Deer Festival being totally sold out so you best get in quick to secure tix.
Joining The Grates on the trek will be fellow banana bending outfit Wax Witches. Drenched in a fuzzy haze, and dripping with international appeal, Wax Witches is the side project of Gold Coast DIY punk brat Alex Wall who you may recognise from such bands as Bleeding Knees Club.
