Tour Guide: The Grates, Little Sea, KUČKA

Dying to hear some locally produced free-range tunes? This week’s tour guide has a mixed bag of Aussie acts who are preparing to head out on the road. There’s Brisbane’s lovably rubbery weirdos The Grates, Sydney’s set-for-stardom pop-rockers Little Sea, and Perth electro-pop songstress KUČKA. Get into it!

The Grates’ Team Work Makes The Dream Work Tour

The Grates have announced their first headline tour since 2011 in the form of a three-date east coast jaunt across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne this August, following an appearance at Splendour In The Grass 2015.

The Grates have only played a handful of dates since their 2011 Summer’s Breath tour. With four studio albums now under their collective belts, including 2014’s Dream Team, the group are primed to bring some of their latest tunes to their loyalest of fans.

Little Sea 2015 National Tour

Sydney’s Little Sea have secured a seven-show national tour, including their first ever shows in Adelaide and Western Australia. All of the group’s upcoming shows are all ages and alcohol free.

Little Sea performed at the Beats 4 Breast Cancer benefit concert in December last year, shortly after releasing their Wake The Sun EP.

The Fremantle leg of the band’s 2015 national tour is already sold out, but tickets remain available for all other shows at the time of writing. Full tour details, below.

KUČKA 2015 National Tour

Perth electro-pop artist KUČKA has a new EP due out some time in the next few months, and to celebrate she’s announced a national headline tour to share some of the new material with fans. Dates in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne have been locked in.

KUČKA has already shared a taste of her forthcoming EP with the song Divinity (below). She’s also been performing her live show as support for acts such as George Maple, Clark, Factory Floor and SAFIA. The special guests for her own headline tour are still to be announced.

KUČKA’s 2015 national tour, complete with a new live show, includes three free shows. Details below.
